Who owns this little slice of Midwestern heaven?
Hello! We're Marty and Katy!
You'll see our names on the welcome sign as you pull in to register for your stay. That's because your stay at Eagle Ridge is personal to us and we'll be glad to shake your hand when you arrive!
It's long been an ambition of ours to own and operate a campground where we could mix up our love for the outdoors and make a lifestyle out of befriending all those that choose to camp with us! We're newbies, new owners, trying our hand at making your travels enjoyable!
Marty is an old rodeo cowboy that brings so much practical know-how and grounds keeping experience to play here at Eagle Ridge. After 20 + years doing farrier work on the side, his back gets a break while he feeds his soul by taking what's great about this space and making it truly our own! Though camping isn't necessarily his favorite pastime, he loves the idea of bringing a beautiful space to each of you as you pass through!
Katy is a long-time 'cube dweller' that brings years of corporate work experience and people skills to work for her here at Eagle Ridge. Katy grew up taking trips with her family here, there and everywhere, always staying at campgrounds and meeting fellow travelers while vacationing across the US. This is her happy space where sojourners share in spirit all that's wonderful about being on the road, on the way to somewhere!
